Exploiting vulnerable people

Pep stores and Foneyam are exploiting vulnerable people. Our housekeeper purchased a phone at Pep Store on credit with their partner Foneyam. The interest amount charged far exceeded the value of the phone. When we tried to terminate the agreement early by settling the full amount the Foneyam operator tried everything to discourage our housekeeper to end this contract and was very reluctant the share full details on how to settle the remaining balance. These companies are taking advantage of people who are already facing financial challenges.
