Expired Marshmallows😭😭😭

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I encountered during my recent visit at PEP store on the 25th of July 2024

I purchased Marshmallow from PEP store located at Meyerton,Upon arriving home and checking the item, I discovered that the item was not in a good looking condition but it slipped my mind anyway.Two days after the purchase that's when I opened them and was ready to indulge I noticed that Noo man this Marshmallows has shrinked than the normal ones,I ate them anyway with my 4 year old daughter...I started asking myself retorical questions while indulging and guess WHAT the item was expired😭😭😭. The expiration date on the item is 17 may 2024

This situation is quite concerning to me, as selling expired items can pose serious health risks to consumers.this incident has left me deeply disappointed.
