Exchange tagged items

I went to exchange 2 dresses with tags on that my daughter got as a gift but they refuse to exchange because I don't have a slip. I don't even want to exchange for something else. I wanted the same dresses in bigger size because it's to small for my daughter. Thia really pathetic
