Duduzile - the rudest manager Pep has seen
Those who know me, know I would rather give praise than complain but this is next level! Duduzile from Pep Heidelberg (Victoria Centre) refused to assist me send a paxi parcel. I use paxi A LOT but I try to stay away from this store as she is ALWAYS rude and has a you-know-nothing attitude. Today was the final straw. Yesterday I sent parcels as I normally do. I put a sticker on the “special instructions” area with the sender, receiver and p-code details. She had a lot to say about this because Paxi will reject it. I have literally sent 100s of parcels this way and no one has had an issue with this. Even her co-workers said it’s nice because it saves time.
Today I went to the side counter to drop my parcels off. They had her called from somewhere in the shop, which she was not happy about. She looked at my parcels and said I must stand in the back of the que. she couldn’t explain why but told me that if I didn’t want to she couldn’t help me and must go to the other shop (basically chasing me away). Feeling humiliated I left the store and phoned Paxi to complain. They really couldn’t understand either. The guy from Paxi told me to go back into the store and that I would be helped. I really wish after this post they pull the security footage to see her attitude. She even sarcastically called me “honey” as though I am dumb, while popping her tongue at me. When I gave her back the same attitude, also in the same sarcadtic tone, she rolled her eyes, popped her tongue again and literally went over me to help the person behind me. From thereon she ignored me for the entire 7 minutes it took me to be assisted by her co-worker.
What surprised me more was that when this started to escalate, 2 other customers joined in, also saying that they have complained about her being rude and arrogant to customers. Even more surprising, SHE IS THE MANAGER!!!!!! Talk about brand damage! Her poor co-worker trying to make excuses for her and her behaviour, all the while she is ignoring myself and the other ladies that are trying to talk to her. This will also be very clear and obvious on the security video.
I will, by no means visit this store or make use of their service for as long as she is there. How can you treat so many customers like this and get away with this!
