Does pep store care about customers or markup?

On Friday the 8th of May 2020 my phone got ****** inside pep store at Silverton Cross Pretoria. When I reported this to the security lady and gave description of what happened - she said they have no cameras in the shop where costomer shop they only have cameras at the pay tills.

The security lady went on and gave me a phone to call my mobile phone unfortunately it was already switched off and the ***** withdrew all the money in my account.

I am truely disappointed in your security services and client security inside the shop. The security did not even ask any guards outside the shop to assist me nor seemed bothered by the fact that I got ****** inside the store, how does a shop like pep store not have cemeras in the entire shop where people shop? I had to go out and look for the person that was shopping behind me and couldn't find anything but my whole account wiped off immediately.

I am forced to think the security lady in question is working with the ****s and pep stores cares only about making money and our safety. At times where the whole country is wearing masks and shopping for essentials on our last penny, pep decides to have cameras at the till to guard money, what about at the back where every theft is taking place?
