Dissatisfied Customer and Harassed by Bella Williams
Today I went to Pep to to pay up the laybye I made in April 18, to my surprise when I get to Nombulelo the cashier she claims that the laybye has been paid up, I came and paid up the laybye. Firstly am told that am a lier and that myb I don't remember maybe I sent someone to come pay and collect. Then she calls Bella Williams very rude manager who knows not to speak with customers. While standing they then discover that, the laybye items where removed from their office to the floor, didn't have the laybye receipt but my ID card- according to their own terms and conditions am supposed to receive my money since I have my ID and Bella said there's no way am getting my money without the proof of purchase. I am so angry and very much disappointed by them because am the regular customer there. And I know that I have four months to complete my agreement with pep however they bridged their own terms that are written on their receipt worse I paid April, May and I couldn't pay in June due to their systems being offline and I had to go for holidays, understanding that my contract with pep expires the 18th of August 2023.
I was humiliated by Bella Williams and to my surprise I was not the only customer who has came across such incident but the other lady was able to assist the other customer swiftly without harassing her.
I was told to come back tomorrow inorder to get a refund that I never requested, but due to their own untrained and professional staff I have to be humiliated by that manager who knows nothing about customer services. I Wonder how she got to be a store manager because clearly she's failing to do her work.
This is truly disgusting and barbaric behaviour from none other than the management of the store. The very same person who is supposed to keep order and ensure that her store has a good reputation.
National Consumer Commission kindly assist with the regards 🙏
