Disgusting Behaviour by a Manager

Pep Stores - Jubilee Mall (pep next to Spar and Vodacom).

I am horrified as I am writing this review recalling the experience I had as a customer at your store (26 December 2024).

Myself and a number of other customers were standing in the queue waiting to go pay, whilst there, a Cashier asked for change from the manager. The manager came out of the office hurling disgusting insults to the said cashier.

All this commotion happened right in front of us, the cashier was visibly shaken and was even crying. This showed a behaviour of bullying, mental and emotional abuse. I can tell that this is normal behaviour for the manager in that store because all the other cashiers didn’t say anything to call her out, clearly scared of receiving the same insults.

Customers warned her and explained that, that is no way to speak to anyone and she still wasn’t remorseful. She was still proud of what she said. Obviously what was said cannot be mentioned here but just for context I’ll summarise on here. She was calling her insulting her by her Private Parts!!! She drew a very descriptive image for everyone who was near to hear.

This kind of leadership in 2024 is really disgusting and disappointing that PEP obviously doesn’t have values they adhere to if a manager is soo comfortable with insulting her colleagues in front of Customers.

This is WORKPLACE Bullying. I hope this will be addressed.
