Digraceful Gladness from PEP Marabastad

I am writing to express my utter disgust at the service I got when I visited your Belle Ombré Plaza in Marabastad, Pretoria on Saturday.

I selected a few items I wanted among which was a kiddies trouser that had been marked down to R35. While waiting to pay, the cashier called a Gladness who came and started peeling the price off the trouser. I watched quietly and then they told me to pay R70 for it because that was the price. I asked why it had a lesser price that she had just peeled off while I watched, and she rudely told me that I had an option to either take it or leave it because the system won’t allow me to pay less. Needless to say, I chose to leave my cart, not because I didn’t need the things but because of very bad service.

I thought it was so unprofessional to peel off the marked price and then tell me to take it or leave it. I know the CPA protects customers in this regard and I thought I should raise it with you so that if she is unaware of that, she must learn otherwise she is not fit to be serving people. Maybe she can work at the warehouse where she won’t be in touch with customers.
