Deprivation of product or service

I went to pep store to open a pep money card account but they refused to open as their system shows my ID is not recorded with home Affairs of South Africa. I phoned department of Home Affairs to confirm and they said nothing is wrong with my ID as its correct and legal , PLEASE ASSIST, THANKS
