********* Credit CArd practices at PEP Home Irene Mall

I was in the store two weeks ago and was accosted by a very pushy PEP representative trying to sell Pep Credit Cards, I told him I would not qualify as I am recently self employed, he asked me for my id so we could "check" it turns out I could get the card , But i clearly told him this was out of interest and I am not interested in taking the credit card offer as I cannot be further indebted at the moment, he was very disappointed and even tried to get the cashier to issue me with the card I again very clearly said no, today19/09/2026 I am checking my credit status and lone and behold there is a PEP credit card listed with a *** limit on my name, I called online help today who at the time of this message confirms it is canceled but I yet wait to get written confirmation, the way this was done is highly ********* and the process that I took part in was not explained properly, it is obvious that this rep has a target and will do anything to get a "sale" I have lodged a complaint with the consumer board and will look at a complaint with the Financial Services Board as well.
