Complete ******* from Pep Cell

In April I purchased an Alcatel tablet and a Mobicel cellphone from Pep cell Galleria Mall in Durban, only to return the next day due to it being faulty. The tablet was replaced only to find out the replacement unit was also faulty. I live in Chatsworth and had to make another trip to Galleria to return the second unit, when returning to the store they unfortunately did not have cash to refund me and I was told to go to the pep in Chatsworth that same afternoon to collect the refund. That afternoon I did and received the refund. Last week which is six months later the Mobicel cellphone freezes and stops working. I returned to the store and they advised me that they will book it for repairs which will be between 4 to 6 weeks and I will be liable for any extra costs should they determine it was negligence. my frustration is what do I do for 4 to 6 weeks without a phone, who is going to compensate me for all my travelling and who is liable for the sales of defective cellphones being sold. I would also like to know how come the CPA states that if any appliances or electronic goods bought within 6 months can be exchanged or the money refunded. I have not received any communication from them since handing my phone in. I want my phone exchanged or a full refund as I bought the goods in good faith and paid in good faith. They must stop ripping people of and using the OBF policy because most electronic goods only have technical issues after the 7 days.
