Broken charger

Am writing this with tears all over my face am a single mum raising 3 kids, I only earn R850 per week R1000 if i get overtime. Now last week Wednesday i bought a charge at Victoria street for my son he's doing matric and they camping and everyone was required to bring they own things mind you he's far from home. So he came on friday to get he's staff including the charger so he left and he calls me on sunday saying that mum the charger is not working bear in mind that i didn't keep the slip cause i had no idea that the charger won't work and i only had R60 in my pocket and he couldn't come same day he only came on saturday went there sunday afternoon you were closed. thereafter i went at pep in gateway and guess what they trreated me so bad i even throw the charge on the till because the lady couldn't wait for me to explain as soon as i stated that i lost the slip he didn't wanna hear anything didn't even give me suggestions am deeply sad guys so i left the charger there.
