BRAND NEW STYLO NOT WORKING AND ANOTHER PEP STORE REFUSES TO DO RETURN

I bought a Stylo Jazz cellphone yesterday @ 18:40 in centurion for R1099, when i got home i realised the phone doesnt work. So i went to Carlton Centre PEP the very next morning to return it and Kedibone(Manager) said they cant do anything and I need to go to the store I bought it from, I explained I had to leave work early just to buy the phone and it's going to cost another R100 petrol to go back to centurion, also it not my fault their product which i paid for wasnt working. I guess if i bought it from kzn they would of said drive back to kzn and return it. This has been a great incovenience for me for something that is not my fault, it will cost me extra petrol, effort and time. Therefore actually paying more for the phone, if i knew PEP gives pathetic service i would of just went to Makro or Game. Stay away from all their cellular products !!!
