bought cell phone that is fault

I bought a cell phone at Pep Store on 21/05/2015, 2 weeks later the phone bettery is always getting low even if is fully charged quickly. I send it back to the store and they told me that the Datas are always on, so i must switch it off. I did that but still, suddenly the phone is Freezing and OFF. I took it back to Pep, they told me that I must wait for 4 weeks they will take it to repair. Yesterday i got the phone with the letter state that Liquid Damage, cashier sad if im not happy with this i must take it my self to vodacom at Maponya. This is day light *******, were is custome protection Act, Treat customer fairly in this store. Do we have to refared people to this store with this kind of service.
