BAD SERVICE EVER

Disappointed in the service from pep stores Jacobsdal(8332). I purchased a phone on the 8th of 0ct2020(SAMSUNG A2 CORE) the following day i returned it to the shop asksing for a refund as the top part of the screen went blank and it showed ''phone overheat'.the sales lady then had a look at the phone switched it on and it no longer did that- she then told us that there was nothing wrong with the phone, we then also saw it didnt do it and we left the store. a few weeks later same problem occured and this time around the phone would switch off with a message reading 'phone overheating.' now all they can tell us is 7day refund policy. who will be happy to buy a phone that you cant make use of?

pep stores was closed for a revamp and we had to wait till they reopened on the 27th nov..my phone was then taken in for repairs and only received it 15th Dec2020. in less the 7 days the phone is doing the very same thing. Upon returning to the store today we asked for a refund as its pointless having a phone that u can't use!! The woman acting as manager called her regional manager first (named LEON) the then didnt answer our calls at first then we contacted the customer care, after a few attempts we managed to get ahold of the very rude, regional manager.. He told us straight out that he will be losing money if he had to refund us.. He says his store is working on a budget & that the problem is with our service provider not pep stores so if we have a problem we should go to vodacom. Its no use him asking us to explain the situation while amidst explaining he rudely interrupts us and tells us he will be losing money.. as if its our fault that the phone keeps on giving us the same problem. I dont feel thats its my duty to go to vodacom i brought the phone from pep stores not vodacom. This Leon regional manager is rude and the tone he used talking to us you would swear he was doing us a favour. Personally i've previously met him in store whilst doing shopping and he seemed nice- but today that we have a problem he was rude and of no help at all.. It just shows us he mentioned quite a few times he only cares about the money.
