bad promotion

I bought a phone the itel vison 1 pro at pep cell in johannesburg on the 18-12-2021.When I was buying this phone it stated that I will get free data and watsapp data to use within 7days but i am not getting this.Please can someone help me I dont know if this is a promotion ran by pep or vodacom cos its a vodacom only network phone
