Bad customer Service EVER!

Can you please teach and make sure that your employees understands and know important is CUSTOMER SERVICE . We got such a horrible service on Sunday from the cashier by the name of Sibongile there at PEP stores in Thokoza. She is soooooooo rude and needs professional help because how she speaks and humiliate customers is not acceptable. Anyway I was there at PEP on Sunday morning between 9/10 am, I was there for an exchange, got assisted by a very polite Lady by the name of Tshego who went to the store room and looked for the proper size I was looking for and then we went to the queue but then the electricity went off, so Sibongile was the ONLY cashier that time and she was writing all the sales manually on some cash sale book. So I was following this lady who didn’t have enough money on her and was only short of R2, Oh my word how Sibongile spoke to that lady telling her that she should have checked how much she had before she wrote on the book, now she is going to get fired because she can’t scratch from that book….She kept on shouting until the security came from the door and politely asked the lady how much does she need extra…the lady said “I am short of R2 sir” and he gave her the poor lady. He then told Sibongile that she need to come down because that attitude wasn’t necessary…Oh no but she went on and on and said its better if these customers leave because she can’t work with people that don’t listen…I then told her to speak to us properly and stop humiliating customers. She said “I wasn’t taking to you and in fact I am doing you guys a favour by writing while there is no electricity”…I was so shocked because she can’t be speaking to customers like that…some of us know our rights and have been to school. I did my 1st degree at WITS and customer service was one of our module. I really don’t understand what kind of training did she get there if this is how she speaks and humiliate customer. I’ve worked at Woolworths before and trust me this kind of behaviour will get one in to serious trouble. She told me I can’t exchange manually, she will need to put it on the system and I told her I will have to come back later when the electricity is back on and I left. When I went out the lady was crying outside and said she doesn’t understand why she was so rude to her in that way because if she knew she was short of R2 she would have cancelled one but no she just had to cause a seen and embarrassed her in front of everyone in the store… she said she will NEVER go to that PEP store again. I told her she can shop anywhere she wants because that shop doesn’t belong to Sibongile and I will make sure its reported because it’s unacceptable and unprofessional.
