Bad customer service and damaged shoes

Good evening, I would like to get assistance with your branch at sontonga mall, I bought slippers for my 3 yr old child on the 22/06/23 and he only wore the slippers once and realized that the stitching is torn and I tried to go to the branch on the 1/07/23 and the old lady on the till by the name of Stella was assisting me was really rude and told me that my child wasn't suppose to wear the shoes,which is surprising. I didn't know that I was buying the slippers to keep them at home and she also said maybe I bought the shoes like that without noticing they were damaged like really it doesn't make sense and she said I must talk to the manager but the manager was not in store and when I told her that I am gonna call customer service and i will come Stella answered me by saying "Good luck". I find it hard that stores in big malls we willing to exchange for me without any hustle but the store in a township they don't and treat customers like **** . And I would like to emphasize that this is not my 1st encounter with Stella the lady is rude and I don't know how till this day she is still at the store working with people and can't provide customer service.
