Bad customer service

I bought on Laybye on the 27th April 2021 at Pep store Daveyton Mall and wanted to collect my laybye but found the store closed with a note that it'll open 31st July.. mind you I laybyed winter clothes and it won't have any use for them after then. I went to Pep store in Mayfield Square also in Daveyton to enquire about it and was told that sms's were sent to customer to collect their laybyes as the store will close however I did not receive such an sms and they told me there's nothing they can do as the store has different machines, they didn't even offer to enquire for me from the stores manager. I asked for a refund atkeast but they didn't want to help me. I ask myself why didn't they send laybye's to the other 2 Pep stores we have in the area and why only rely on sms method if they did really those sms's. I'm frustrated with this before now my kids don't have any winter clothes which are stuck there till end of July
