Angry customer

I had a very bad experience yesterday at the pep in Tambotie mall in Randfontein. My son had his 1st birthday party on Saturday and we asked for clothes. One of the items he got is a ben 10 top and for personal reasons I don’t want my child to wear ben 10. Obviously because it was a gift I did not have the slip I was rudely told that I am not allowed to exchange or asked for a refund without a slip now this is absolute nonsense as any other clothing store are willing to do an exchange without a slip. I was told to please ask the person next time to keep the slip if they buy clothes for my child this is honestly so stupid how can you expect me to ask someone that bought something for my child as a gift to keep the slip people will never buy gifts for him again. I was never so angry in my life I shop at pep quite often and really enjoy the new quality of clothing that they stock but this had made me very angry and will make me think twice to buy something from them again
