Poor service

I booked a holiday to Italy, France, London and Scotland with Desirai from Pentravel. I was not notified that there was a weight restriction for my internal flights. Desirai did not inform me that there was a weight restriction as I needed to paid extra 30 Euros and 40 Pounds as my bag was 1 kg over the hand luggage. If I was informed in advance I could have packed less or been advised to book luggage online and saved on the unnecessary fees.
