PENTRAVEL ROSEBANK......STAY AWAY.....They dont care..

I inquired about flights to Abu Dhabi , then flying on to New York, USA, round trip. (March '24)This was done via telecoms to the Rosebank branch a lady by the name of Zuziwe...... OMG.....I received a quote which amounted to between R 43,000 and R 50,000 for 1 pax...... WOW,,,this being economy class.....Im not sure if the agents work on Comm, but this absolutely indicates they do. There is no way that this agent actually took the time and effort to ensure she had all the details to accommodate my trip. On line this trip via Abu Dhabi to NYC came to a round trip of R16k per 1 pax. This agents quote was absolutely ridiculous. When I challenged her, the excuses came flooding, I never indicated that I was flexible, 1st question she should have asked, all other agency's do, they cant compete when inquiring direct with the airlines. But her quote clearly specified that she and Pentravel would match or beat any quote. Now thats a blatant lie and misrepresentation. This was my 2nd attempt in booking a trip through them over a period of 2 years....NEVER AGAIN, they are unprofessional and dont care.....and have arrogant attitudes... STAY AWAY.
