Suzuki Swift 2020 model

We have a trailer that we bought a few years back and now it is standing under the carport gathering dust because we cannot use it anymore. In February 2020 we bought a New Suzuki Swift from Penta Suzuki Wonderboom before the lockdown. When we took the car to Autobar they refused to install a towbar because Suzuki SA phoned them and told them that no Suzuki under 14 00 were allowed to have a towbar. According to Penta we were suppose to tell them that we want to install a towbar and that the new legislation says that no car under 14 00 can have a towbar. We had a few cars which all were fitted with tow bars. I just need to know where this legislation were published. I feel this is utter nonsense and suziki now has to fix this because no other car dealer is aware of the legislation. I would like you to grant permission to install the towbar and keep our warranty.
