Suzuki Penta Motors

So, just before lockdown my Jeep Wrangler bag to be towed to Penta Motor Group Suzuki, with a V-belt that jumped off... Car booked in 6 March 2020. So lockdown had my car trapped, all good. 6 June 2020, after several attempts to find out how my car is doing, the third time i phoned, threw my toys, i family was promised same day in afternoon. During lockdown I've moved to Mosselbay and had to drive up to Pretoria to come fetch my car. I was quoted about R15k for the v- belt, so I've asked for service aswell, so totaal come to R22.5k Difficult times, but only the best for my beloved 2012 Rubicon. So drove 1000kms plus to fetch my car on June 6th, 3 months after first booking...

Received the car in good condition and runned well. Almost 8 hours after receiving my car, overheating started. No water in radiator and was informed, after car been towed back their workshop. Sorry Mr De Jong, there is no compression on the engine, and we expect heat seized and will have to take your engin apart.. All good things happen, let's see, they'll sort me out...... haha!!

Then i was introduced to their workshop manager, Mr Andre Booysens...

Explained to him the story and very sympathetic and full of apologies.... Great, a good guy in my side.... haha!!!

Now I'm sitting in Gauteng, but living in Mosselbaai, without transport. And they will have to do a lot of tests to find out what caused the problem, so please don't expect your car soon Mr De Jong....I got really upset when I mentioned that I just payed R22.5k at your workshop, drove 1000km to come fetch my after 3 months, and now stranded in Pretoria with my 74 year old dad who came with for the roadtrip in a rental...

This is where I totally lost all respect for Penta Motor Group, and especially the workshop manager, André Booysens after demanding a courtesy vehicle to get back home to Western Cape. " He talked to all his directors, and the best they could do for my in the current situation is pay 50% on a rental to get back to the Cape... super **** deal, but hey, better that nothing....

Then the next words I lost it..."He will need my authorisation to open up my engine to fix their problem. I told him I don't need to give him authorisation to return my car to the same state before it came to their workshop and spent 3 months there....i told him he surely aren't going to open a file for account to fix this ****???!!!!

Over that!! I'm taking you guys to court....
