Suzuki

I bought a Jimny last week from Cobus Bester, his customer service was great, kept me up do date completely. The vehicle was delivered on friday night as i stay in Northern Cape. The driver who brought the vehicle to me, according to him it was said that he needed to catch a lift to Kimberley which is a 100 km from were is stay, which is not human. I drove the vehicle home which is 2 km from were i collected the vehicle. The next morning i went to the vehicle to inspect it completely in the light. I switched on the ignition and let it idle. The open button on the key does not work, the front tyres are offroad and new, the rear tyres are normal road tyres which are completely different and looks ****, the roof lining at the rear has 2 cigarette burns, the engine was filthy dirty especially were they topped up the brake fluid, there is black liquid that turned hard over time on basically all the parts, the dipstick handle broke off and was left in the centre console, the vehicle had no water in the expansion bottle as the vehicle started over heating, i do not know how the driver drove without water and for how long, the vehicle has a burned smell when hot as if the head got burned. The number plates had no pop rivets nor double sided tape to keep the numberplates from falling of. The contract i sighned with MFC had completely the wrong names and surname's of my next of kin and wife. I contacted the salesman shortly after i picked up on the faults, sent photos and videos, asked for the 101 check sheet and pre delivery check, up until now i have heard ***ol! Apparently the aftersales service stop's once the unit is sold and the vehicle is added to his target for the month. I know how the system works as i worked in the motor industry for 20+ years for different brands..... I know jimny's are overpriced but for R240 000 you expect atleast to have the engine clean and matching tyres. Someone better contact me to explain why the vehicle was not safety checked or why i was not informed on these faults, i will drive this vehicle to pretoria, straight thru the sales window and cancel the finance.

Good day,

Thank you for reaching out to share your experience with us. Firstly, I’m truly sorry to hear about the challenges you've faced after purchasing your Jimny and the frustration this has caused. This is not the experience we want for our customers.
Please allow us the opportunity to make this right. I will escalate your concerns to both our sales and service management teams.  You’ll be contacted shortly by a member of our team to discuss next steps.

Kind Regards
