Dissapointed by the service manager , even service received

A very bad service or assistance from the service manager on Saturday 11/03/2023 ...booked my car for service during the week and received a confirmation email to bring my car on Saturday 11/03/2023 only to find out they forgot to ask for authorization from my insurance, so I had to be sent back , which I felt it was not fair on me as I even took a days leave ...so must I suffer for their own mistake...and am staying very far...wasted my petrol and my day for nothing...
