Pension Ombudsman only there to protect the Insurance Companies and not the little main in the street

They do not read the entire complaint, they do not request factual evidence from Sanlam. They simply make a decision to close the complaint in their books. EC/***, as you can see from the reference number this complaint was lodged last year in November……they only come back now with a half hearted response. No investigation done whatsoever!! Now they tell me to go to the tribunal where I need to start the process from scratch including attaching all documents etc and emails going back and forth and document telephonic conversations…..absolutely ludicrous and totally unhelpful
