Despite written confirmation and proof of payment

I went on line and checked for available accomadation I then booked online as there was rooms available I subsequently paid the 50% deposit required and recieved written confirmation from travel ground the booking agents . 2 hours after recieving confirmation I get call from travel ground to tell me my room is now cancelled.Cannot get hold of Carol Cox of Penryn B &amp
