Let the customer do the running around.

<p>I went to Glenroy Park Penny Pinchers/Buco/Timber City on the cnr of Walker Drive on Saturday the 10th of December. I bouhgt a 80-100mm x 3.0m long Pine fence pole. I was told I need to pick it up from the yard at the back of the store. Once there I was told that they dont have any of these size poles in stock. Seems like the system did not pick this up. I then paid in the diference for a longer pole, thinking I will just cut it shorter. Again the yard had no stock when I wanted to load the pole. What irritated me the most was that I had to do all the running around. Getting sent back and forth by the staff. While trying to sort out this problemmyself the salesperson went outside to the yard to have a smoke and the guys working in the yard could not care less. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they dont have one on duty on Saturdays. This might have been one lousy R140 pole but I dont just buy from Penny Pinchers in my private capacity but also for the company I work for. All in all I think the service was pathetic.</p>
