Poor Workmanship and Service

I installed a small custom (Gunite) fibreglass pool through Penguin Pools a few years ago. The fibreglass started bubbling (coming loose on the pool bottom) about a year ago and then cracked and came loose. After contacting the Pretoria head-office and submitting a warranty claim I have heard absolutely nothing from them... notwithstanding numerous follow-ups (email and telephonic) from my side. They also seem to have a high staff turnover as I have been in contact with several different reps in the time I have pursued my complaint, all of them having left. Be careful of this company... I would absolutely not use them again.

After many months of receiving no feedback or response from them, (this was after I submitted a formal warranty claim) notwithstanding regular follow-ups, I got an independent pool renovator to look at the pool. He also identified major workmanship / quality issues, especially relating to the way that the fibreglass covering was not tucked under the coping as is standard practice.

I have started emptying the pool and will take photos as the reparis progress and identify further workmanship and quality issues. I will share these on a dedicated Penguin Pools Criticism site. The public needs to know.
