Penguin Pools do not know how to build pools

In July of 2021 I contacted Penguin Pools for the construction of a pool. as an established pool builder I made my concerns clear to the gent doing the quote. I was quoted and paid the relevant fees. There was little clarification or communication regarding the process and I had to chase after the contractor to get information. The various teams could not co-ordinate with each other and the pool was not built to the required specifications. Once the pool was filled I noticed that it was losing water at an alarming pace. The gent who quoted said that this is "normal", when the leak got worse he eventually sent out his team to look for the leak which was eventually found on the light in the pool. They supposedly fixed the problem and the leak then got even worse. I was adding water daily. The team returned a second time to do a "proper" repair and the pool still loses water as it originally did. The pool is covered and should lose virtually no water but I have the water topped up every 30 to 36 hours. The guy who did the quote has not once come to inspect the work that the teams did and only returns calls when I ask for the owner contact details. Shoddy workmanship, poor communication and poor after sales service. Stay away from Penguin Pools!
