Looks can be deceiving Guest house

Worst weekend away I had in my life. Made my booking 3 months ago. Two weeks before arrival I inquired again as I had no confirmation yet. I was told only one unit available and I must pay deposit immediately. So I did but the quotation and invoice differed with R1000. The day of our arrival we went to an event. Paid R700 for the tickets. At 19:20 the evening I got phoned to by Pelenchi Manor to tell me we must come and book in now. No times for book in or out of any form on website or anywhere else. We had to leave an hour into the event and lose our money for that. On arrival another couple was also only booking in then after we where told it was only us that didn't book in yet. My husband was upset and he wasn't very friendly and no answer could be given when he asked about operating times for this 4 star guest house. The only reason we could get is that they need to get up early again to make breakfast. Once again this service for a 4 star guest house???? When going to our unit the male owner awaited my husband and started yelling at him. Swearing and telling him that he didn't like him, his attitude or his hair.....really!!!!!! The female owner was trying to get him into the house as he was acted like someone that was intoxicated. And alm of this infront of 2 children. He told my husband to shut up or he will regret it. I see this as a threat. I told him we will rather go and he said yes he also think so. I asked for a refund of my money and he screamed at me that I must read the cancellation policy. Needles to say our whole weekend was spoiled by this. Pelenchi Manor will never see me again. And this after we stayed there last year and these people were TOO friendly. Clearly they don't have enough staff to run that guest house if you can't book in people after 19:00 and do breakfast the next morning. Going to suggest to necessary organizations that this should be investigated.
