Peindre Painting waterproofing runs away with my deposit without doing the work

I paid Johan a 70% deposit for waterproofing work to be done in July 2024. The total job was R3,983.20. The deposit was R2,788.24. Due to a harsh winter in Cape Town we postponed the work until warmer weather. I have been trying to get Johan to come to my house to do the work or repay the deposit since the beginning of November 2024. None of these have occurred.

I would not trust nor work with this company or indiviual in any capacity.
