refund request

I had made a booking for 19 December 2015,i then paid R1075 AS A DEPOSIT TO SECURE the booking I called them and I cancelled the booking. I then called them to find out when am I going to receive the payment I had already made, I was told the lady who deals with that was on vacation . called again last week and the guy who assisted me from the reservation asked me to send him banking details after so long trying to contact them, up until know I have been trying to call no one seems to be able to assist me. What should I do to find out about my refund at the hotel as big as that really now? I am really tired
