An expensive mistake courtesy of Pecanvilla Rentals

We recently used Pecanvilla Rentals to rent a high-end house at Pecanwood over the December period (94 Jack Niklaus Drive). We paid for a 5 bedroom house, with specific amenities like a jacuzzi, etc. Upon arrival, the house had clearly not been cleaned properly. The dishwasher smelt terrible and had food lying in it. The washing machine stank and was filled with dirty sheets. The carpeted bedrooms smelt like damp (in the middle of a heat wave). The jacuzzi didn't work and was dirty. A large amount of cutlery and crockery were dirty and had food / marks on them. The house, in general, has clearly been ignored and not maintained well and might be acceptable if not for the premium charges and marketing. We eventually left the unit halfway through because it was most certainly not suitable or what we had paid for. Pecanvilla Rentals (who I found out after the fact are not only not endorsed by Pecanwood, but not recommended (putting it lightly)) did nothing in terms of suitable apologies, refunds, making it right or anything else professional that might have made up for an expensive and upsetting mistake. I recommend that you avoid doing business with them at all costs and just contact Pecanwood directly to find an approved rental agent to work with.
