I purchased a vehicle, a delightful Suzuki Spresso, which I was assured was under warranty. I was good to go with my chosen vehicle for all of 2 months, then suddenly, my vehicle was inoperable. Not the lifespan I had envisaged when I purchased the vehicle, I must tell you! I took the vehicle to Suzuki for repair and It transpired that the warranty was no longer in effect, due to a material non-disclosure of my vehicle having bern previously in an accident. Naturally, I was never informed of this, no doubt so the sale could be made and I the fool who was none the wiser, according to Peaceauto SA. Neither Riaan nor any other PeaceAuto SA employee would enter into any negotiations/communication with me regarding their non-disclosure. The cat was out of the bag and unsurprisingly, the mice scattered! Idle promises to assist me were made to me after I submitted the R20 000 repair quote from Suzuki. Riaan personally advised that he would communicate with me by Friday 05 January 2024 yet he evades my calls and attempts to reach him. Surprise surprise! The service team/management simply ignore your pleas and continue to fly under the radar. The fact that no service history could be provided is to be heeded. Stay away if it cannot be supp****. The vehicle was licenced, despite there being no indicator, nor spare tyre. The issue with my vehicle was caused by the dealership who welded my tapet head cover on to the vehicle instead of having it bolted. I am thoroughly disappointed with their after-service assistance and will be pursuing this further. The cat is out of the bag on this CATastrophic service. My retirement vehicle is anything but purring... This dealership's customer care is far from PURfect!
