PDSA Lentegeur Mitchells plain

Today my son took our 4 month old kitten to the pdsa in lentegeur Mitchell's plain for his first rabies injection. The lady at reception told my son that they cannot assist our kitten with his first rabies injection unless he pays 900.00 for a sterilization. My son told her that he is unemployed and as soon as we have gathered the money, we will bring the kitten back. She said ..no sorry we can't help you . Try going to spca. My son literally begged her and she sat there staring at him. Poor people really get treated like **** at pdsa in Mitchell's plain. According to the sterilization law in SA, every animal must be sterilized at 6 months and older. I agree but our kitten is 4 months old and couldn't even get his first rabies injection. There was another customer inside and he commented by saying that the pdsa treats him like crazy as well and turns lots of animals away. Yoir service is pathetic!!! The lady at reception can't even speak properly to us and why? Because they assume we are poor so they can turn us and our animals away?
