Do not under any circumstances use this service. You will pay a very small fee of R10 to R20 to edit a pdf , they will save your banking details and deduct a massive amount of money after 3 months. What they do is they state you have registered for a 3 month subscription. They stole R3002 out of my bank account. They are unwilling to refund me.

My experience with File Editor has been extremely disappointing and concerning. Money was deducted from my account without proper authorization, which should never happen with a legitimate service. When I contacted their support team to report the issue and request a refund, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. Despite clearly explaining that the charge was not authorized, they refused to process a refund. This raises serious concerns about their billing practices and their commitment to fair customer service. Taking money from customers without clear authorization and then refusing to correct the issue is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before using this service or providing any payment details. Based on my experience, customer protection and accountability do not appear to be a priority.

****MERS! *****ulently sign up people without their consent and without notifying you. They ask you to pay a small fee to be able to download, once you put your banking details, they sign you up as a member and they don't notify that you've been signed up. You'll just see a transaction on your bank of a huge amount of money you never agreed to.

I used PDFe to upload and edit a PDF, for which the fee was R13.11. The website did mention a 7‑day trial period, but trial periods are generally understood to mean free access to test a service. Instead, I was charged during the trial, which led me to believe I was purchasing a once‑off service — because honestly, who pays to use a trial period? At no stage — from the main page, to uploading, to paying, and downloading — was it clearly disclosed that I would be placed on a monthly subscription plan. After the 7‑day trial ended, PDFe deducted R1000 from my account without my informed consent. This lack of transparency is misleading and dishonest. Automatically enrolling users into costly subscriptions without clear disclosure is exploitative. I have since canceled my account, but I will be warning others about this experience. PDFe’s operations are deceptive, and I strongly advise potential users to be extremely cautious before providing any payment details.
