Utter waste of time

I previously consulted with one of the consultants specialising in the Hospitality space. They never placed me anywhere. I later changed (over 8 years later) industries to Finance/Insurance. The consultant specialising in this area contacted me and we had a skype call. But no placement.

I am not sure who this agency places and who has been happy with their service. I have never found work through an agency, but somehow I hoped this agency would change my mind about how recruitment agencies work.
