I bought a Konica Minolta laser printer from PC Link computers on 03 Dec 2021. On receiving the item it was found to be faulty and was returned to PC Link Computers on 13 Dec 2021. I was told that assessment of the item will take 10-14 working days. On 13 Feb 2022, 40 working days later, I visited their premises in person, only to discover that very little (if any) assessment was done. The item was then tested in my presence and confirmed to be faulty, whereupon it was agreed that it will be returned to the supplier for replacement or refund. I contacted them again on 18 Feb 22 to enquire on the progress, when it was confirmed that the supplier agreed to a refund as they were out of stock on that particular item. The supplier will issue PC Link Computers with a credit note, whereupon my bank account will be credited with the full purchase price of R4944-00. It is now more than three weeks later with still no refund. I find it difficult to believe that a supplier will take this long to issue a credit note after agreeing to do so. I attempted to contact PC Link Computers several times again today, but my call got disconnected directly after being answered on each attempt. I am now getting rather desperate.
