Unsatisfactory Service by Pc Link Computer Shop

On 11 January 2021 I ordered an article from Pc Link Computers and was informed that the order had been received and should the article not be delivered within 20 days, to contact them.

Since 30 January I have been in communication with them via e-mail as one cannot phone them and should you use the number provided you are being redirected to contact them via e-mail.

I was first told that the article was arriving during the first week in March and after waiting patiently, I was forced to inquire as to the delay in delivery. and received the following on 15 March; "Kindly note the stock is currently being processed We will notify you once the stock has been dispatched"

On 29 March I again inquired regarding delivery and the following response was received on the same day: "Kindly note that the stock is currently being processed. Once the stock has been dispatched you will receive an email indicating that the stock is on the way" As these answers received seemed to a standard answer to a query, I asked to be informed properly and received the following on 1 April; "I will follow up and revert back to you as soonest" By 9 April I again requested a follow up and received the following response; "Kindly note that the stock is currently being processed. Once the stock has been dispatched you will receive an email indicating that the stock is on the way."

This was enough for me to see that there is no follow up, no genuine response and I subsequently informed them that I will take action and post this review to you.

To date I have not had any further response from them, an offer to refund or any other form of communication and that for an order paid for in January to the value of nearly R 1000.00.

I would like to go even further as you will deduce from the email sent to them below.

It has now more than ever become evident that you nor any other employee at Pc-Link actually have a clue what is happening to the order placed as I have informed you before that the answer you have given me today is exactly the same as the one I have received on numerous occasions and this is obviously a standard answer you give to any customer enquiring about an order placed and which have not materialised.

I can only deduce from this that the company Pc-Link is either never going to honour a purchase and therefore I will have to go the following route unless you and your company want to escape complete embarrassment by coming back to me with a satisfactory and HONEST response to resolve the issue.

I am willing to allow your company to respond by 14 April before I will take the action required.

The action I intend to take is as follows: By 15 April I will let Hellopeter have all correspondence regarding this matter (which had a promised date of 20 days originally) and will post your inability to respond and deliver.

By 19 April (If yet I have not received the parcel nor been reimbursed) I will take this to the consumer board.

By 26 April I will report the matter and all related reports of your service as being published in Hellopeter to Carte Blanche as I have noticed that your company does not carry a good reputation regarding delivery and response.

I sincerely hope that I do not have to resort to the above measures, but my patience has been tested beyond what any person needs to go through.

You need only look back at all our correspondence and the promises made to realise that by now I am entitled to complain bitterly.

From a very unsatisfied "customer"

Please advise should I need to take further action and whether this review will have the desired effect.

Yours sincerely
