STAY VERY FAR AWAY! Returned faulty product and now silence...

I ordered a R3000 6TB HDD on 10 Jan 2022 which was delivered on 17 Jan 2022. I installed the HDD on 18 Jan 2022 but the drive experienced an early failure.

I emailed PC Link Computers explaining that the HDD was an faulty. What was very concerning was that they packaged the HDD with a half torn anti-static bag which was exposing some of the HDD surface to contact with normal bubble wrap and most of the bubble wrap inside the outer box was ON TOP of the HDD with almost no protection at the bottom where any shock would obviously come from.

This points to either staff not knowing what a HDD is and therefor not knowing how to properly package it or they simply don't care.

I got a reply that the drive will be collected and "The drive will be sent in for an assessment which is +- 10-14 working days Will advise again when completed" It was collected on 21 Jan 2022.

It's now 7 March 2022 and STILL no news regarding a replacement. Compare this kind of service to Rebeltech in 2-16 when I also received a faulty HDD and it was sent back, replaced and shipped to me within 1 week.

I'm VERY concerned that PC Link Computers is now just pocketing the money...
