Poor Delivery
<p>The website indicaates that delivery is available from Midrand. After placing an order and paying by EFT I recieved a phone call that I had to collect from Florida Glen which is the opposite of what is on their website and extremely inconvenient as I am based in Midrand</p> <p>On collection in Florida Glen, at extra cost and time, I discussed this and was given various unconvincing excuses about where items can be collected. The below is the PC Link website collection details from their website. the way it reads to me is that collection is normally available at Midrand and only at Florida Glen by special arrangement:- </p> <p>When or where can I get it?</p> <p>Please note: Pc Link Computers is an online store only, we do not have a retail store. We do not keep stock at our offices in Florida Glen, you can only collect from the office in Florida Glen if option was selected on your order.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want to collect?</p> <p>You can collect same day if your payment is authorised at the warehouse in Midrand depending on the product, please email us to confirm if your product is available for same day collection.<br />You can collect any product next day if your payment is authorised from the office in Florida Glen. We will send you an email when ready for collection.<br /> </p> <p>When do I get my delivery?</p> <p>Gauteng area door to door - 2 to 3 working day's <br />Main centre 2 to 4 working day's<br />Regional area 3 to 5 working day's<br />Remote area 3 to 5 working day's<br /> </p> <p>Select one of these options at checkout.</p> <p> </p> <p>Notes:</p> <p>Remember that weekends and public holidays are not working day's.<br />All orders received by 1pm will be processed the same day and dispatched the following working day.<br />All orders received after 1pm will be processed the next day and dispatched the following working day.<br />Items dispatched directly from the warehouse to customers in the Gauteng area will not have a tracking number as in-house drivers are used for deliveries.</p>
The client selected same day collection at Midrand warehouse, as per our terms and conditions kindly quoted by the client: You can collect same day if your payment is authorised at the warehouse in Midrand depending on the product, please email us to confirm if your product is available for same day collection. The client did not confirm availability of items before processing payments, before placing the order with the warehouse the client was contacted and informed that items are not available for same day collections at the warehouse, the client could have cancelled the order but agreed to collect the items from Florida Glen, which is next day collection.
