How to get your refund through the transaction dispute mechanism
PC link computers are *******. They are a **** and need to be held ********ly accountable.
I ordered a TV on 22 Feb from their website and subsequently requested a refund after the TV was not delivered on time. They confirmed that my refund would be processed within 7-14 working days. By 11 April I still did not have my money even after I tried to follow up with PC on multiple occasions. I even asked DPO (PayGate) to process the refund and they couldn't because PC link did not instruct them to refund my money.
I finally reached out to my bank and they made me fill in a Transaction Dispute Form. I also had to attach my correspondence with PC link as proof that PC link refuses to pay the money they owe. My bank reversed the transaction and my money is back in my account. PC link's bank has 50 days to dispute the reversal so I'm still waiting for their response.
Contact your bank to start the transaction dispute process if PC link is ignoring your emails. The cut off period is typically 40 days after payment but exceptions can be made. I reported my situation after 48 days.
