Breach of Contract/ Manager with Bad Attitude

Do not order online! Read the reviews on Hello Peter, they have more than 10 bad reviews all confirming my experience with this company. Failure to meet order obligation which by law is a breach of contract and can be enforced legally! Bad Attitude of management! Lack of responsibility or acknowledgement. I don't understand how they are listed as a "trusted company" surely after 5 bad reviews the company should lose this status and have to re-earn this status!!! This company has failed to meet their obligation to an order we placed and then proceeded to attack a customer on the phone, accuse them of lying, manager was reluctant to even speak to the customer on their request and asked the junior staff to get rid of the customer on the phone by just saying we don't have the product, end of story, we can't say anything further, bye. He advised his staff to just say that to the customer and end that conversation , get rid of the customer on the phone!

We have an order number confirming the order was placed and accepted, we have proof of the online advert. We battled yo get a hold of them over the weekend so we waited until Monday to verify whether payment can be done at the store since the store does allow collections at the store. EFT payment is allowed and there is NO stipulation on the website that card transactions are not accepted at the store neither does it state that payment secures the order so standard sale/purchase laws apply which means the contract is binding once the offer has been made by the customer and the seller has accepted the offer as is confirmed by the order number. According to contractual law the contract is concluded between both parties at this point and payment is then required in order for the goods to be released. If this was an error on their part I could have easily accepted the correct response to the effect of ( We do apologize mam, but we do not actually have stock even though our website confirmed we did, is there anything else we can rather assist you with instead or how can we make this up yo you?) But to add insult to injury by then turning on the customer, attacking them and accusing them so you can get out of the situation is completely unprofessional, and a bit barbaric I would say from his raised voice and attack on a customer and this was the manager! I see there was a review where someone said they have been ******* and I feel the same. All the negative reviews spell out the sane thing... bad attitude, lack of responsibility and failure to deliver the product!!! I was so right to not pay upfront before making that call, my intuition was right! They would have probably refused to refund my money. How do we get them off trusted status... too many bad reviews here to still be worthy of that status surely? Will be looking at legal follow through as this was a business order.

Your order was placed on Black Friday without ANY PAYMENT BEING DONE. You contacted us on 04/12/2017 which is 11 days ago, demanding that we should honour the Black Friday promotion which is impossible as the promotions, as with any other store, retail or online, are only valid for Black Friday. There is no breach of contract. You can not walk into Checkers and demand to buy a product 11 days after the promotion has ended for the same price. Regarding your comment stipulating the bad reviews posted please note we've handled 20 000 orders for this year up to this point. If you take into consideration the amount of bad reviews posted on other companies where the majority are 60% bad reviews, our status should not even be questioned. We also take exception to the comment that we would not have refunded your money. We have never withheld refunds, we have been in business since 2011 and would not have lasted if we are in the business of taking clients money. You are more than welcome to check our reviews on Trusted Company.

This is a total fabrication of the situation and once again speaks of the lack of honesty and integrity. It doesn't matter how long you have been in business, time doesn't buy you integrity especially when during that time you have had more than 10 bad reviews saying the same thing, there are at least 3 bad reviews just last month and 1 today. The order dates and numbers can be chevked to confiem that this order was place on Saturday (02/12/2017), today be the first business day after placing the order. We only waited until the Monday to be able to call in to ask if we could pay at the store when we collect and this person who responded is aware of this as we had discussed this om the phone and he confirmed the order was received this weekend. The call is recorded on my side. I have the order confirmation verifying the date of order and the order number which should follow sequence proving the date of the order. The advert did not say anything about black friday on it and was advertised this weekend (This in itself is then false advertising or you forgot to take the advert down either way it still allowed me to put the item in my basket online as the last 1 left of that stock and then confirmed the orfer at the advertised price on my order confirmation). This once again speaks to this managers character if he will make up this story and lie that I ordered it 11 days ago to the very people who provides him with the trustworthy approval to cover himself and get out of his obligations to a customer. Do you still deem them to be a trustworthy company? What are the standards that are acceptable to acquire such an approval and are they then high enough to protect us as consumers or do we ignore this sign as it holds little value for us. Like I said ... a simple acknowledgement and apology of their error would have sufficed, but the bad attitude heaped with his dishonest feedback and non challenge attitude of so what if more than 10 customers were totally dissatisfied and felt cheated, it's only 10, they don't matter, I will make a better effort when 60% of my customers are unhappy like some other companies! Well customers, would you like to take that gamble of whether you will be number 11 or you may have a good experience depending on the managers mood that day! Bad reviews are one thing but to have all your bad reviews confirm the exact same complaints of no responsibility by the company, unable to deliver as advertised, lack of integrity, bad attitude! Taking pride in the fact that you got less bad reviews than another business is not exactly a redeemable characteristic! Bad Attitude, non apologetic behaviour! Excuses! It's unfair on customers who then become victims like us because companies like this are still given the stamp of approval as a trustworthy company. A ***** who has also only ****** 10 timez in his life compared to other ******* who have ****** 60% of their lifetime, doesn't mean we would trust the first ***** with our valuables because he is still not trustworthy, so that argument is incredulous really, to think it's ok if others are worse than you! That a business person can think that's a legitimate comparison!!!! Surely the attitude of a good business person is to strive to be better than others! Not ... just not as bad! Change the behaviour that people have complained about because you actually want to obtain client satisfaction because you take pride in your business and you WANT to make your customers happy or does PC Link & Computers have no such aspirations to improve their business or satisfy their customers. Honour your contractual obligations or at the very least do the ethical thing and own up to your mistake and apologize to your customer!

The above scenario turned out to be a complete misunderstanding. My order was not made on Black Friday but their online shop showed a black friday item still available due to a glitch in the system which allowed me to order something that didn't exist. The manager called me to apologize when he realized where the mishap transpired, explained what he understood had happened and has offered to make amends by offering us a similar product for free. This gesture goes beyond expectation and has restored my faith in this store and I would like to take back my negative review. Misunderstandings occur daily so I can totally understand his reaction to my claim based on that. Thank You Paul!
