Bad Online Supplier

I bought some equipment online at PC Link Computers. I paid and the transaction was concluded and they sent me an email which said they would advise me when shipment takes place with tracking information. Next minute I get a walk around why they cannot fulfill their sale due to stock. This is however a new ad and find it unreasonable that they do not have stock. My suspicion is that they advertised incorrectly and now realized it after I placed my order and already paid. So, now refunding me and don't even compensate me for time wasted on their site buying this product and also the transaction costs. I already purchased 55mm lens to use with this package and this lens does not have a refund policy so now I am also stuck with a 55mm lens which I cannot used or sell for the same price.

Surely there is a law that protects a buyer from this occurring. I am consulting my lawyer firm.
