Avoid at ALL cost. Don't ignore bad reviews!

I bought a graphics card from this business (and I use the word business extremely loosely here) on 09 April. I paid close to R 10 000.00 for it, and sent through proof of payment immediately as I did not want to risk them running out of stock. (Another company had the same exact item at about R 100 more, but I made the mistake of going with Pc Link Computers instead).

I then received an automated response saying that my order has been received and that they were waiting for confirmation of payment. Given that we were going through a hard lock down at the time, I was completely okay with letting a few days go by without any proper response.

Several emails later, on the 10 May, a month after I placed the order, I finally receive a reply from Mark Williams stating that they're only sending out orders from the 11th due to their courier company only resuming work on that date. Again I was completely okay with this, just as long as I was actually going to receive the item.

On the 21st May, after not getting any further feedback, I get a reply from Mark stating that my order (which he had previously said had already been processed and would be delivered) had been lost in the system change over and that they now had no stock of it. After asking them for other options, which they weren't really willing to assist me with, other than sending me a link to their website, I requested a refund on the 22nd May.

It's now been almost two months since I paid them, I do not have the item that I paid for, and am still awaiting a refund, which normally takes a maximum of 2 days. That item is now not available at any other online retailer and I'd probably have to pay R 2000.00 more to get something similar.

They do not answer phone calls and barely reply to emails. Do yourself a favour, please take heed of these other negative comments, they're there for a reason, do not deal with PC Link Computers. Pay the extra Rands and have peace of mind instead. They're the most unprofessional, ********* online retailer I've ever come across and I would probably have to take this up with the consumer goods and services ombudsman if it comes to it.

Again, you're really better off dealing with anyone else except PC Link Computers. Seriously.
