Shocking Customer Service!!

Early in September Paypal started sending me emails asking me to confirm my identity by uploading a copy of my ID and a bank statement showing my full name and address - which I did. A few days later I received an email confirming they have reviewed the information and that my account has been returned to "regular standing". However, with each subsequent transaction, they would send another email asking me to confirm my identity and when I followed the link they provided and logged in, the message would read "thank you for submitting the required information". A week ago, I received another email from Paypal informing me that my account has been limited because I haven't provided them with the required documents. What a nightmare trying to get hold of the department who deals with the limitations!!! I've sent emails - to which they just never responded and then had to sift through Google to find a contact number that actually works. The staff at initial call centre you reach is very friendly - but ultimately useless because there is nothing they can do to help apart from transferring you to the guys who deals with the limitations on your account. Good luck when they do transfer you - I was "on hold" for over 2 hours until I eventually complained and they offered to phone me back before transferring me to the limitations department. The person at the limitations department who eventually bothered to answer the phone after I was on hold for almost another hour couldn't help either. She eventually gave me an alternate website address where I was supposed to upload proof of my identity - again. Which I did.

Still no word from Paypal though. No response to my emails or messages sent through their portal. No acknowledgement that the documents have been received. And worse of all - I have no way of accessing my funds in my Paypal account! :(

I don't know if Paypal has become too big - and don't care about their customers or exactly what they problem is, but I'm seriously considering switching to Payoneer or something similar.
