Title: PayPal Is Withholding My Funds Without Just Cause – No Resolution After Weeks of Cooperation

Review:

I am extremely disappointed with PayPal’s conduct and lack of proper resolution. After maintaining a verified PayPal business account for over 5 years, my account was recently frozen due to new 2025 policy changes requiring business registration documents—which were never required at the time I opened my account as a freelancer.

Despite submitting multiple documents including proof of identity, bank statements, proof of residence, and even an approval letter signed at PayPal’s request, my account was suddenly hit with a permanent restriction with no clear explanation or resolution. I cooperated fully, called support, uploaded everything requested, and was even assured the issue would be escalated. Instead, my funds were locked indefinitely and no further assistance was offered.

I have asked multiple times for the release of my funds or at least a transfer to my personal PayPal account, and yet all I receive is silence or repeated requests for the same documents I've already submitted.

PayPal is holding my money hostage. This is unacceptable, especially for someone who re**** on PayPal for their freelance income. The lack of accountability, transparency, and customer service is deeply concerning. If you're considering using PayPal for business, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

I will continue escalating this issue until it's resolved, and I hope this review warns others before they fall into the same situation.
