Paypal: **********!!!

Worst experience of my life! Opened a Paypal account in order to receive payment from Airbnb. Successfully utilised the platform for 2 years and then suddenly, without notification, my account was "frozen" and the funds seized?!!!

I provide all documentation to verify who I am (including copies of a photo ID, proof of residential address and proof of banking) on several occasions. Nothing was done to lift the limitation.

I then tried to contact Paypal directly for an explanation as well as advice on how to remedy the problem.....there appear to be no humans working at Paypal. You have to log disputes in their "Resolution Centre" on the dashboard and you get automated prompts on general FAQ's, but no communication with anyone directly whom can give you a personalised explanation of your account. I have sent emails, logged disputes, posted on their Facebook page (which they obviously promptly removed), Facebook Messenged and still no explanation.

What I do know is that they have seized my funds and have informed me that in 6 months time I will get an explanation as to how I can go about withdrawing these funds. *******? I presume so....Paypal is not an FSP or Banking facility and they therefore have no right to seize funds without explanation or retribution.

I would seriously advise anyone considering to make us of this service to reconsider!!! I have even tried to close my account and they have blocked that?

Unacceptable!!! Unprofessional!!! And *******, I am pretty sure of!!!! I will now have to fork out additional cash in legal fees to get my money back.
